The news item appearing in a section of Press today on 18 Feb titled as “Jobs in LESCO –Thousands of Applicants fail to receive call letters” is tainted with inaccuracies. The spokesman of Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) termed it as totally baseless and absurd. He further said that above mentioned report pertains to National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) which has conducted test for the induction of junior engineers at different locations of country including Lahore center on 18 Feb, hence there is no question of sending call letters to the applicants by LESCO which is also based on false and inaccurate reporting.
The LESCO spokesman further said that it would have been better the concerned staff reporter could have attained the version of LESCO & NTDC, while filing the said news item
