Disbursement of pension to retired employees is the top priority of LESCO and this luminous practice would be continued in future. This was stated by Chief Executive Officer LESCO Muhammad Azhar Iqbal while handing over pension papers and souvenirs to 24 LESCO employees retired during December, 2009 from service after attaining the superannuation age. Retired employees include Assistant Managers Syed Khalid Masood & Abdul Raheem, ALMs Nazir Hussain & Abbas Ali, LM-IIs Muhammad Akram & Muhammad Shafi, SDCs Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Sadiq, Sartaj Ali, LM-Is Muhammad Rasheed, Malik Abdul Qayyum, Muhammad Aslam, Muhammad Afzal, Muhammad Sultan and Bashir Ahmad, LDC Syed Farazand Ali, Naib Qasids Muhammad Yousaf & Allaha Yar, Security Guard Akthar Ali, UDC Muhammad Siddique, Fitter Driver Abdul Rahman, Meter Mechanic Muhammad Saeed, MRSS Ahsan Ullah and SSO-I Muhammad Sharif. He further said that all employees are like family members and valuable asset of the company. All concerned officials are directed to ensure timely completion of all formalities well before the retirement of the employees. All out efforts have been made to ensure timely payment of pension to all LESCO retired employees, he added. All dues were paid to retiring employees besides gifts were presented in recognition of their commendable services rendered for the company. It is mentioned that over 1400 retired employees have so far been given pension documents since the ceremony started five and half years ago. The ceremony was attended by General Manager Technical Sadar-ul-Huda, Operation Director Rana Muhammad Ajmal Khan, Director Human Resources Saghir Ahmed, Finance Director Abid Latif Lodhi, Manager Administration Tariq Wahid Khan, Deputy Manager Administration Zameer Hussain Kolachi and Deputy Manager Public Relations Javaid Ahmed Khan alongwith other officials.
